Kacie is originally From Lebanon, Maine and relocated to Florida several years ago. She has her Masters in Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University and received her Bachelors in Health Services Administration from University of Central Florida. She has been in the healthcare industry for 10 years and has a passion for helping others. During her free time, she enjoys cruising, outdoor activities, fishing, working out, and spending time with her husband, Leo and her son Joey.

Pamela brings over 30 years of Medical billing experience and has been with FRS for 10 years. Prior to coming here Pam lived in the Detroit area where she gained experience and education in the health care field of Medical billing. She brings passion, kindness and professionalism to our FRS TEAM. She enjoys the outdoors, the beach weather here in Florida and thoroughly enjoys the community here in Brevard County.

Born and raised in Cocoa, Florida. She graduated from Rockledge High and worked in retail for 8 years before moving into the medical field. Kendall loves helping patients, being there to help them get the assistance they need and seeing the joy and appreciation of patients when their vision is repaired. When not working, she enjoys spending time in her ministry and with any downtime she enjoys baking, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Donna, our purveyor of all things Greek, has extensive ophthalmic knowledge, not only working in the field for over 25 years but has also obtained the rank of certified ophthalmic technician. Donna is a Space Coast local, born and raised in Merritt Island and has strong connections with the local Greek community. Donna has never met a stranger and is the embodiment of the FRS motto: we treat you like family. Opa!

Samantha is a lifelong resident in the small town of Titusville, Florida where most of her family still lives. For the last few years Samantha has called FRS home. She has been in the eye care industry since 2016 and loves that she works with a team that she can learn from and that pushes her to make new and challenging opportunities. She finds coming to work so enjoyable working alongside Dr. Venzara and the rest of the FRS staff. She loves spending her free time with her husband and their two daughters. And enjoys spending time outdoors, being with friends & family, and attending The Grove Church.

Originally from Maryland, Kelly relocated with her parents to Florida in 2007. She has worked in retina for 16+ years and obtained the title of Certified Ophthalmic Assistant. When she is not in clinic, you can find her with her husband Dan, and their 2 daughters. Together they enjoy camping, music, boating, cruising, and spending time together as a family. Kelly is passionate about spreading her knowledge in fun ways to help others find joy in the field of ophthalmology.

Ashley is the Patient Intake Coordinator and Surgery Scheduler at FRS, where she plays an important role in helping patients feel welcomed and ensuring their care runs smoothly. She finds it rewarding to be part of a team that makes a difference in people’s lives every day. Outside of work, Ashley loves spending time with her two daughters, Sophia and Lori, and cheering them on at their volleyball and basketball games. She also enjoys relaxing with her two dogs and three cats, hanging out with her husband, fishing, visiting the beach, and creating beaded crafts

Born in Ontario, Canada and moved to Florida in 2001. I strive to provide the highest level of patient care. Being a mom is her favorite part of my life, her son, Rhys, makes her world complete. Outside of work, she loves cooking, exploring new places with her son, and playing with her dog!

Shelly brought her impressive work-ethic and passion for serving patients in the medical field. She has excellent customer service skills and great attention to detail. Shelly is a Florida native born to a large Italian family who immigrated to Merritt Island over 100 years ago. She likes spending time outdoors boating and fishing, and especially spending quality time with her daughter, Zoey, watching her volleyball games, and with her husband, Kyle, and family.

Ashley is from Wallingford, Connecticut and relocated to Florida several years ago. She served as an LPN over the last 15 years in various healthcare specialties. Ashley joined the FRS team in 2019 and has been serving patients wholeheartedly. In her free time, she enjoys fishing and spending time outdoors with her husband and two children. Ashley takes pride in her position as billing associate because she makes sure patients have proper coverage from their insurance and that they also have the access they deserve for medications, treatments, and surgery.

Juliet served as practice administrator for Florida retina specialists from its Inception in 2014 and has transitioned into this new role. She is a graduate of Merritt Island High School and University of Central Florida with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Spanish. Her previous experience was with nephrology, as South Florida Regional director for the National Kidney Foundation. She and Dr. Venzara have been married for over 2 decades and have four beautiful children. In her free time she likes working out at the gym, Bible study, dancing, spearfishing, boating and doing a variety of water sports.

Richard has a passion for serving patients and brings joy and a great attitude to our work environment! He is a graduate of Merritt Island High School, and has a bachelors degree from Eastern Florida State College in Biology in hopes to pursue a career in nursing. In his free time he likes to play tennis and spend time with his family.

Originally from Jefferson City, Missouri, Kaidy moved to Florida in May 2015. Watching the rocket launches hold a special place in her heart because the first time she saw one was when her grandparents brought her and a couple of her cousins here on vacation to watch the shuttle Columbia launch in June 1991. This is one of the most rewarding jobs she says she has ever worked because she is part of a team of great people, who are helping others by making a difference in their sight.

Jasmine was born and raised locally in Brevard County. She is a 2017 graduate of Satellite High School. She has obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science from The University of Central Florida and is currently working towards her Master’s Degree. In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her husband Alex and her cats— Juniper and Jasper. She also loves to travel, shop and enjoy the finer things in life.

Lisa is a member of the billing team at Florida Retina Specialists and enjoys learning more each day about the fascinating world of the retina. Born in New York and raised in Florida, she spent several years moving along the East Coast while her husband served as a Chief in the United States Navy before returning home to welcome their baby girl earlier this year. In her free time, Lisa loves spending time with her family and dogs, reading a good book, and going to see live music. She loves problem solving and learning, and is excited to grow more with the practice

Originally from California, Samantha joins us from New York, where she resided for 5 years before relocating to Florida in 2023. In her free time, she enjoys taking her pup Travis for walks, reading, going to concerts, and traveling. Samantha loves being able to assist patients daily and speak to them about their retina needs.
