For adequate retinal exam, both of your eyes will be dilated.

For this reason, we advise you to plan appropriate driving arrangements, for your eyes may be slightly blurred for a few hours. Depending on the complexity of your problem, a new patient exam will take atleast an hour and may require additional testing.
