Florida Retina Specialists welcomes Dr. Eric Guglielmo

Florida Retina Specialists proudly welcomes Dr. Eric Guglielmo to the team of exceptional Retina surgeons.

Dr. Guglielmo [Gu-yel-mo] has already begun seeing patients at both our Merritt Island and Viera offices.

He recently moved to Florida from Washington State, where he practiced medical and surgical retina for several years at the largest and oldest ophthalmology practice in the state.

Interestingly, prior to attending medical school, he was a high school teacher for four years, and has carried his love of teaching over to his practice of ophthalmology.

"I take special pride in being able to explain retinal conditions to patients in ways they can understand, and I greatly enjoy using my teaching skills both one-on-one, or in group settings."
